01 — Overview

Shiprade supplies the PVC profile systems of VEKA, the system supplier that has developed PVC windows since 1969. The range covers five SOFTLINE window systems, three SOFTLINE entrance-door systems and three sliding-door systems, so windows, doors and large glazed openings can be built from one coordinated family.

All profiles are made to Class A quality under DIN EN 12608: 3 mm outer walls and 2.7 mm walls at the glazing rebate and connection area, each within ±0.2 mm. Multi-chamber geometries in 70, 76 and 82 mm build depths, two-gasket (AD) or three-gasket (MD) sealing and steel reinforcement give values down to Uw 0.74 W/m²K, sound insulation up to Rw 47 dB and burglar resistance up to RC2.

Beyond classic white, the systems are available with more than 60 colour and woodgrain foils, the matt VEKA Feinstruktur foils that resemble powder-coated aluminium, the lacquered, ultra-matt VEKA SPECTRAL surface, and aluminium cover shells that can be anodised or powder-coated in any RAL colour. Multi-chamber geometries reach Uw 0.74–0.83 W/m²K with triple glazing (Ug 0.5 W/m²K).
