Overview
Çatıser is a functional waterproofing layer laid beneath the final roof covering. Its structure stops water from outside reaching the roof deck, while its high vapour permeability lets moisture from below escape, so the roof breathes and lasts longer.
It is laid parallel to the eaves over the counter-battens and insulation, draped slightly between battens, with a 15 cm overlap marked on the roll. Staples and nails go only into the counter-battens.
