Overview
Chimneys and wall abutments are among the most demanding details on a roof. Bacafleks is a four-layer flashing — an aluminium mesh between two vulcanised thermoplastic layers with a full bitumen adhesive base — that follows moving surfaces and resists UV over the long term.
Bacaser Plus (butyl-backed) and Bacaser (polymer-bitumen-backed) are electrostatically powder-coated aluminium flashings with corrugated edges that take the shape of deeply profiled tiles; neither needs heat to bond in normal temperatures. A clamping strip and sealant complete the detail, and chimney caps are available in concrete and metal.
