Overview

01 — Overview

Cement-bonded particle boards combine the strength and durability of cement with the workability of wood. Wood particles and cement are pressed into a dense, dimensionally stable board that resists water, moisture, frost, insects and fungal decay, and contains no asbestos or harmful emissions.

The range has two families. Flat Cement-Bonded Board is the flat, natural grey building board used from floor to roof: as subfloor and raised-floor panels, partition and shaft walls, roof sheathing and tile backer in wet spaces. The PLUS family adds a layer of natural minerals to both faces, which raises fire performance to A2-s1, d0, improves weather resistance and gives paint a better key. It includes the flat Mineral-Layer Board and the textured Line-Pattern Board, Geometric-Pattern Board, Stone-Pattern Board, Wood-Texture Board and Stone-Texture Board facade boards.

Facade boards are fixed mechanically on ventilated-facade principles and are supported by matching jambs, corners and banding profiles. All boards can be painted, coated or papered, and special sizes are cut from standard boards. Boards must be cut using a dry cutting method.

Performance

  1. 01

    Cement and wood

A dense composite with the durability of cement and the workability of wood.

  2. 02

    Floor to roof

Subfloors, walls, ceilings, roof sheathing and facades from one material family.

  3. 03

    Mineral-reinforced faces

PLUS boards carry natural mineral layers on both faces for A2-s1, d0 and better paint adhesion.

  4. 04

    Decorative textures

Wood, stone, cut-stone, geometric and line patterns for exterior and interior walls.

  5. 05

    Ventilated facade

Mechanical fixing with matching jambs, corners and banding profiles.

  6. 06

    Weather resistant

Resists seasonal change, sunlight, water, moisture and impact.

  7. 07

    Insulation

Contributes to thermal and acoustic insulation and to energy efficiency.

  8. 08

    Healthy material

Asbestos-free and odourless, with no harmful gas emissions. Will not rot, mould or attract insects.

  9. 09

    Easy to work

Light to carry, easy to cut, drill, install and modify.

Shipping & storage
  • Boards are supplied on wooden pallets, wrapped in plastic with strapping and corner protectors; cover with tarpaulin in transport.
  • Store indoors on level ground, flat and never leaning against a wall; keep the plastic cover and steel straps on until use.
  • Stack no more than 5 pallets, with feet aligned and a total height of 3.5 m at most.
  • Carry single boards upright, or as close to vertical as possible, so they do not bend.
  • Cut boards with a dry cutting method only.
