Overview
tepePAN Roof® is a roof sheathing board of cement and fibre with high load-bearing capacity, A1 reaction to fire and resistance to water, moisture and mould. It is laid as the carrier board under roof coverings such as tiles and shingles.
Its non-combustibility makes it a safe choice for low- and multi-storey buildings, especially adjoining ones — villas, apartments, hospitals, schools and hotels. If exposed to the weather during roofing, it keeps its properties.
Boards are laid with their long side at right angles to the bearing profiles and fixed with corrosion-resistant screws, leaving a 5 mm joint. Pre-drilling makes screwing easier; the axis spacing of bearing elements should not exceed 600–625 mm, and boards must not be walked on until they are fixed.
