01 — Overview
Overview
Underground cables should not be laid directly in a trench: the chemicals in the soil shorten a cable's life. Brick is used as the protective layer.
Solid bricks are laid along the full length of the cable on the sand bed above it, and between low-voltage and medium-voltage cables that share the same trench. The 22 cm and 25 cm solid formats are used.
