Overview
Handmade bricks are valued for their decorative look, but they offer far more: they let walls breathe, hold heat for comfortable interiors and give spaces a fine acoustic quality, which is why historic brick halls are so often used for concerts.
Six formats cover building, restoration and decoration. The mini brick suits gardens, balconies, fireplaces and interiors; the 18.5 cm brick is the most widely used; the Mediterranean format is preferred in Mediterranean countries; the larger 22, 23 and 25 cm bricks serve as robust load-bearing units and for the restoration of historic buildings. The 25 cm brick, also known as the antique Roman brick, matches the texture and size of many historic structures.
