Overview
01 — OverviewGood outdoor lighting makes a place safe, legible and welcoming after dark without flooding it with glare. Shiprade supplies a complete family of exterior luminaires, from low bollards and recessed step lights to wall lights, garden spikes, floodlights, poles and string lights, so a single project can be lit with a consistent design language.
All luminaires are intended for exterior use, with housings in corrosion-resistant materials such as powder-coated aluminium, stainless steel and composite, and sealing appropriate to their position, from wall-mounted fittings to fittings set into the ground. LED light sources keep energy use and maintenance low, and warm or neutral colour temperatures can be chosen to suit the architecture.
Lighting can be switched conventionally, controlled by timers, twilight and motion sensors, or integrated into dimmable and smart control systems. We help architects, contractors and developers select fittings, coordinate quantities and deliver complete lighting packages alongside the rest of their building materials.
